2010 Silver Tassel Scholarship Award

Junior League of Greater Winter Haven is proud to present the 2010 Silver Tassel Scholarship Award to a Senior of Greater Winter Haven in recognition of outstanding volunteer efforts.

We would like to invite you to nominate a Senior from the Greater Winter Haven area. Also included in the application is an essay portion to be completed by the nominee.

This award will honor a Senior who:

1. Has contributed a considerable amount of time and effort volunteering in the community.
2. Is a role model to others because of his/her leadership and dedication.
3. Has created an awareness of his or her project(s) within the community through volunteer activities.
4. Has taken on significant volunteer work that has made a positive impact on the Greater Winter Haven area.

This is your chance to help recognize the valuable contribution this Senior makes to our community each day. This year, the Junior League of Greater Winter Haven will present a $500 scholarship for the honored Senior to attend his or her choice school.
